That was me using a Google account that I didn't really want associated with nudity for parental disapproval reasons...but my point was that, even though I deleted my comment, it still shows my username along with "comment has been removed", so I'd appreciate if you could completely remove it.

Also, I deleted my previous comment by "Rin Tohsaka" at 5 Nov. 2016 @ 22:05 because I forgot to select "Notify me" and blogger doesn't have an "edit comment" function...

ANYWAY, this is what I had posted:

I cannot comment about locking the door to a bathroom, but there's several very practical reasons for closing the door:

1. Preventing humidity from permeating other parts of the house during a shower (extremely useful in warm weather conditions; humidity is also not great for woodwork due to mold build-up - my father is quite the stickler about that last bit)

2. Retaining precious heat in the bathroom during a shower (useful in cool weather conditions, especially if you're the type that keeps their heating bill low like my mother does)

3. Preventing undesirable smells from permeating the rest of the house during pooping mother-lodes (similar to the reason why toilets have lids).

Also, regarding shower curtains, there's a very practical use in making sure that things outside of the shower (like aforementioned woodwork) don't get wet, and bathroom floors are typically slippery when wet (unless you have something like a full-room bath like is common in Japan).

Lastly, I just want to comment that, even though my parents aren't nudists at all, their shower actually uses transparent doors without any curtain which means anyone in the bathroom can clearly see the person in the shower, especially if they're on the toilet located directly perpendicular to said shower (for reference their house was built in the mid-90s, so stylistic choice could have been a big reason for the transparent shower doors).Rin Tohsakahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00119472669288281047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3389976836763874093.post-26403250583653770342016-11-05T22:05:15.207-07:002016-11-05T22:05:15.207-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Rin Tohsakahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00119472669288281047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3389976836763874093.post-78076245507000642542016-11-05T21:46:40.894-07:002016-11-05T21:46:40.894-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Nintendo Maniac 64https://www.blogger.com/profile/11694133248624482091noreply@blogger.com
